Students entering into the final year of their degree are generally preferred. Such studentships may be financially supported by successful grant applications (e.g. Biochemical Society, HRB, BSCB), by the group directly, or unpaid. Students of such programmes will be given the opportunity to apply for such projects and allocations will be made by the university. It is not necessary to contact group leaders in advance of project allocations, however, students are invited to read the research interests of group leaders before applying for research projects and may benefit from familiarising themselves with the research of a given group before commencing a project with that group.

</details>

Iarchéimí

<details class="wp-block-details is-layout-flow wp-block-details-is-layout-flow">
Socrúchán Taighde

Groups in the centre may accept recent graduates for a short internship.
